Criticalmass in Hungary on April 30-th
The annual Critical Mass ride begins on Saturday at 4 p.m. It's called the First Last Budapest Criticalmass.
The annual spring Criticalmass will be held on sturday April 30-th. The organizers named it the Last. In 2004 when the first cyclist demostration was held the main goal was to create a critical mass of voters who support transport cycling in Budapest. The goal's been met despite the fact that Budapest is still not a bike-friendly city. Before the first demostration you could only see a few bikers in the city mostly couriers. Today there are bikers everywhere.
Critical Mass has become an institution in Budapest, and not just for cyclists, attracting tens of thousands every occasion, Budapest Critical Mass is believed to be the biggest CM in the world.
It's a mass popular event, with participants of all ages, all walks of life and all political persuasions.
